Polyester Linen-Like Slub Yarn (Folded)

Polyester Linen-Like Slub Yarn, also called Polyester Folded Yarn is an important branch of fancy yarn, available in bright and semi-dull lusters. This yarn features an irregular thick and thin effect similar to bamboo nodes (which we call "slub"), providing a pronounced linen-like texture which is a very different feel compared to Polyester Slub DTY Yarn (Doris).

From a technical perspective, it is created by combining two or more raw materials, such as POY+FDY or FDY+FDY, using a special technique with a texturizing machine. This results in unique "slub" and "nep" effects, giving the yarn an eco-friendly, natural appearance similar to natural linen, while also offering superior durability, abrasion resistance, and wrinkle resistance.

Both the yarn itself and the fabric structure it creates provide a better linen-like effect compared to other fiber materials. Its unique fancy fabric style makes it a highly recommended yarn and preferred by high-end home textiles such as sheers, curtains, sofas and more.
